  1. Approval of Agenda
    1. Ms. Webb moved to approve the agenda.
    2. Mr. Walden seconded the motion.
    3. Vote: all in favor.
  2. Approval of Minutes June 4, 2024
    1.  Mr. Forrester moved to approve the minutes as presented.
    2. Ms. Webb seconded the motion.
    3. Vote: all in favor.
  1. Discussion Items
    1. Qualification-Special Election-District 1 Commissioner Vacancy
      1. Mrs. Rudolph updated the Board on the 2 different time frames for Qualifying. The Board opted for August 19-21. 2024 to have a clearer discernment between the 2 qualification periods.
    2. Qualification-Special Primary-District 1 Commissioner-
      1. Mrs. Rudolph updated the Board on the 2 different time frames for qualifying. Mr. Forrester expressed that the Republican party would prefer September 9-11, 2024.
    3. Special Election for Homestead Exemption-HB1413
      1. Mrs. Rudolph updated the Board on the Call and publication of the Special Election in conjunction with the General Election that is required by HB 1413.
    4. Potential SPLOST question-
      1. Mrs. Rudolph updated the Board on the potential Special Election for a SPLOST question.
    5. District 1 Commissioner Special Election-March 2025
      1. Mrs. Rudolph updated the Board that as of July 2, 2024, there were no write in candidates yet for this election.
    6. 2025 Budget Request
      1. Mrs. Rudolph updated the Board on 2025 Budget Request.
        1. Budget request was altered a little from the Finance Department and Mrs. Rudolph asked to be given permission to change the poll worker pay for the November Election, since we will be holding voting a little longer.
    7. 2024 Budget Review
      1. Mrs. Rudolph updated the Board on the current 2024 budget
    8. Voter Outreach
      1. Mrs. Rudolph updated the Board on the different ways that the office may move forward with voter outreach.
  • Business and Information from Board Members and Staff
    1. Mr. Forrester: Congratulated Mrs. Rudolph on her public presentation of the upcoming elections.
    2. Mr. Walden: “great job”
    3. Ms. Parker: absent
    4. Ms. Webb: none
    5. Mr. Patten: none
    6. Mrs. Rudolph: asked that in November the Board members help with delivering food on election day.
