III. Public Comments
a. Dr. Hersey – acknowledged the vacancy of Commissioner McElhenney is a complicated issue. He wanted to know what the qualification fees for the Special Election would be. He wanted to know if they would be prorated, and if so, did someone owe him money for his qualification fee?
IV. Approval of Agenda
a. Ms. Parker moved to approve the agenda.
b. Mr. Forrester seconded the motion.
c. Vote: all in favor.
V. Recommended Consent Agenda
a. Approval of Minutes May 28, 2024
i. Mr. Forrester moved to approve the minutes as presented.
ii. Mr. Walden seconded the motion.
iii. Vote: all in favor.
VI. Discussion Items
a. Special Election-District 1 Commissioner Vacancy
i. Mrs. Rudolph updated the Board on the timing of the Special Election to fill the vacancy, the Special Primary to replace the Primary of May General Election and the potential Special Election of March 2025.
b. 2025 Budget Request
i. Mrs. Rudolph updated the Board on 2025 Budget Request.
1. Budget request is good to go.
VII. Business and Information from Board Members and Staff
a. Mr. Forrester: thanked Mrs. Rudolph on her work for the Special Elections and Primary
b. Mr. Walden: “good job”
c. Ms. Parker: “thank you to Mrs. Rudolph”
d. Ms. Webb: absent
e. Mr. Patten: “Big ditto”
f. Mrs. Rudolph: “thank you to Adam Nelson and team for helping get it straight.”
